Since the pandemic began, so many of us have had to move our support for foster, adoptive, and kinship families online. Come learn strategies and tips for successfully hosting and facilitating support groups online. Although we all hope to be able to hold in-person support groups again soon, online groups will continue to be an important resource for rural communities and families who have a hard time getting to in-person groups. (We’ll use Zoom as our model but the techniques will work with other online platforms.)

Presented by Barb Clark, parent support and training specialist, North American Council on Adoptable Children. 2020.
