Please Tell Your Senators to Vote NO on the Graham-Cassidy Bill, Which Would Repeal the Affordable Care Act!
The Graham-Cassidy bill would slash Medicaid funding. Medicaid is critical to the children and families involved in the child welfare system—it finances services and supports to abused and neglected children and provides health coverage to the more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, most children adopted from foster care, and thousands who have aged out of the system. Families and young people benefiting from Medicaid need to make sure their voices are heard and that their Senators know how these structural changes and cuts to Medicaid would harm them.
Medicaid is vital to foster care and adoptive families.
