NACAC Conference
Registration Information
Registration & Fees
Full registration fees cover institutes, workshops, general sessions, Saturday’s awards luncheon, and a CD with handouts. For those who register as non-members, a one-year individual NACAC membership is also included.
Registrants can also elect to attend a single day or two. For those who cannot pre-register, on-site registration will be available.
Current NACAC members receive discounted registration fees: one for individual and parent group members, up to 20 for enhanced parent group and organizational members, and unlimited for employees of national/corporate members. Registrants can also apply for membership with the registration and use the discounted rate.
Conference registration fees—payable by check, money order, purchase order, VISA, or MasterCard—are due with each registration.
Please calculate the total amount due on the registration form. All registrations must be accompanied by payment (check, money order, credit card, or organizational purchase order). Make checks and money orders payable to NACAC.
For written conference cancellations received by July 10, we will refund fees paid less a service charge of $50 US/$60 CDN. For cancellations of only children’s programming or the pre-conference session (but you still attend the conference), the service charge is $25 US/$30 CDN. We cannot refund any fees when cancellation notice is not received in writing by July 10.

If your payment is for multiple registrations, please send all of the registration forms together.
Adult Registration Forms
Parent couple registration rates are designed for two people who are or who will be raising a child or children together.
The membership discount is available to one individual or couple for each current individual/family member, one representative of each parent group member, up to 20 employees of each organizational member, up to 20 parents affiliated with each enhanced parent group member, and all employees of each national/corporate member.
Saturday’s award luncheon is included in full conference registration and the Saturday-only registration fees. If you need additional tickets for guests, please contact NACAC.
By indicating institute and workshop preferences on the registration form, you help us to more accurately assign rooms based on expected attendance. However, you are not bound to your choices at the conference; simply get to sessions early enough to get a seat.
If you need special accommodations to enable you to more fully participate in the conference (such as sign language interpretation), please contact NACAC.
If you prefer NOT to be included on a registrant list, please check the box on the registration form under the Registrant Information section.
Please indicate if you are willing to be a workshop monitor. Monitors attend sessions, introduce the speakers, pass out session evaluations, and evaluate the sessions themselves. If you choose this option on the registration form, we will pass your contact information on to the person who is coordinating the monitor process.
To attend any of the pre-conference sessions, please complete the Pre-Conference Sessions section on the registration form. Parent couples should indicate which person is attending which session. Parents can attend the same sessions or different sessions, or just one parent can attend a session.
Children's Program Registration
Space is limited so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Register online, or download a PDF registration form. Please be sure to submit an adult registration with child care forms. Childcare registration forms and fees are due by July 10.
We will forward information about staff-to-child ratios and daily activities upon receipt of registration and fees. At the conference, children will be released from the program to a parent or guardian only.
Lunch will be provided on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided throughout the program. If your child cannot eat table food, you must bring appropriate meals and snacks each day. If your child is an infant, you must provide your own food -- formula, bottles, baby food, etc. -- disposable diapers, and wipes in a container marked with the child's name.
Please note that the children's programming providers do not administer medication. For the younger children who will remain at the hotel, we suggest that parents give medication. For older children and youth on field trips, youth program staff can carry the medicine and remind the child when it is time to take it.
Children 1 to 5 will remain at the Hyatt. For the youngest children, the program offers self- and teacher-directed activities as well as age-appropriate toys and games, art, story time, and quiet time. Preschoolers may engage in structured activities or choose to play with puzzles, coloring, and other educational toys.
For youth ages 6 to 17, the youth program will include daily field trips, educational sessions, and structured play time at the Hyatt. The programming is being coordinated by the Staff Commonwealth and the Ohio chapter of the Foster Care Alumni of America.
Confirmation
NACAC will send confirmation notices primarily by e-mail, with letters only to those who do not supply a valid e-mail address. Please print your e-mail address clearly. Contact NACAC to verify your conference registration if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within two weeks or a letter within three weeks.
